By downloading, accessing, or using GritSaga ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

GritSaga is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. See Section 9 (Disclaimers).
GritSaga offers a Free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription tier (monthly or yearly billing) with full features, as described in the App.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided for unused time, except as required by applicable law.
Refund requests are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies, as GritSaga does not directly process payments.
In-app coin packs for avatar cosmetics are one-time, non-refundable purchases except as required by applicable law.
You retain ownership of body scan photos, selfies, and any other content you upload ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you grant GritSaga a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store that content solely to provide and improve the Service (e.g. AI analysis, avatar generation). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to Section 7 of our Privacy Policy regarding retention periods.
You agree not to upload photos that are not of yourself, are sexually explicit, depict minors inappropriately, infringe on others' rights, or are otherwise unlawful.
Your pixel art avatar is generated specifically for you based on your submitted selfie and fitness data. You may share your avatar and shareable cards publicly; GritSaga may also display your avatar (not your real photo) on leaderboards, rival comparisons, and community features within the App, in accordance with your privacy settings.

The AI Coach feature provides general fitness suggestions based on your logged data. It is:
Always consult a qualified professional before starting a new fitness or nutrition program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions.
Muscle group scores generated by AI analysis are estimates for progress tracking and motivational purposes. They are not medical-grade measurements and should not be used to diagnose, treat, or assess any health condition. Results depend on photo quality, lighting, and consistency, and may vary.
GritSaga is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee any specific fitness outcome, weight change, muscle gain, or health improvement from using the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GritSaga and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have any pre-existing medical condition. Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptom. GritSaga's gamification features (streaks, boss challenges, XP) are designed for motivation and should never be a reason to train through injury, illness, or exhaustion.
All trademarks, logos, app design, pixel art assets, characters, and software comprising GritSaga (excluding your User Content) are the property of GritSaga or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your access to GritSaga at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the Service. You may terminate your account at any time through the App settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 6.2 (limited license), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Limitation of Liability), and 12 (Intellectual Property) survive termination.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes affecting paid features.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or email. Continued use of GritSaga after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
